What is RIASC?
The Rhode Island Association of School Committees (RIASC) is a non-profit organization located on Rhode Island College Campus. RIASC is dedicated to training and improving the effectiveness of school committee members in meeting their roles and responsibilities to students, parents, administrators, and taxpayers, while playing a lead role in shaping and advocating public education policy at the state and national levels.
How Do I Become a Member?
RIASC Membership is available to school districts who are interested, not on a person-by-person basis. Encourage your district to become a RIASC member. RIC STUDENTS -- There are 35 Committees -- Two committees are appointed -- Central Falls & Providence, all others are elected To request more information on joining, or to find out if your district is a RIASC member, call us or fill out our contact form, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
