SCHOOL ENERGY PROGRAM
Many districts have enrolled in our School Energy Program leading the way to achieving savings on their energy bills. The program took effect on January 1, 1999 and has saved districts thousands of dollars in electricity costs.

WORKERS' COMPENSATION PLAN
RIASC is working with Beacon Mutual to provide member school districts with a group plan for workers' compensation insurance. With workers' compensation costs rising, RIASC is creating this cost-saving alternative for your district. School business managers and school committee chairs have been kept informed of the plan's progress. Contact Tim Duffy at 272-9811, Ext. 17 if you have any questions.

NSBA FREE JOB SEARCH SERVICE
RIASC members conducting a superintendent search can have their search posted on the NSBA national website at no cost. Call RIASC for details.

DISCOUNT CONFERENCE FEES
When appropriate, RIASC will offer your district discount conference fees depending on the number of members attending from your district. When registering for a conference, ask about our discount program.

ELECTRONIC POLICY MANUAL
If you would like to learn more about how to make this searchable, electronic policy manual technology available to your district, contact RIASC.

TEACHER CONTRACT DATABASE

RIASC offers members a database that lists contract language for all of Rhode Island's school districts.  The database is searchable so that the user can search for provisions or specific language districtwide.

SCHOOL DISTRICT SAVINGS PROGRAM
RIASC is currently working on a FICA alternative program to create cost savings for members school districts.

CONFERENCE ROOMS AVAILABLE
RIASC is located in Building #6 on the Rhode Island College Campus. Designed with professional development in mind, the building contains three conference rooms available for use by RIASC members.
