RIASC's 2011 ANNUAL MEETING
RIASC's 2011 Annual Meeting was held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Save the Bay Headquarters in Providence. The theme of this year's meeting was Student Centered Funding. Attendees heard from experts on equity and student based budgeting, using resources to effectively improve student learning, and student needs with regard to collective bargaining. Our thanks to Allan Odden, Ellen Foley, and Ben Scungio for their presentations. During the luncheon program, graduates of RIASC's Leadership Development Academy received recognition from the Rhode Island Board of Regents. Attendees also received an update from Commissioner Gist on current RIDE programs and initiatives.
